Disney+ Costs Only $1.99 per Month for a Short Period

This is the version with ads because the ad-free one costs too much now.

[NOTE: The temporary discount on Disney+ subscriptions will end after September 20th, 2023, so this is your last chance to check it out.]

Many of the streaming services we enjoy have raised their prices over time. These price increases are usually just a dollar or two, but they can really add up if you're subscribed to several services. That's why finding good deals is more important than ever.

Right now, you can get a great deal on Disney+ if you don't mind watching some ads. Disney+ is offering three months of their ad-supported service for only $1.99 per month, which comes to a total of $5.97 for the three months. After that, the subscription will renew at the regular price of $7.99 per month. Think of it as a paid trial. You can try out the service for three months without paying the full price upfront. It's not completely free, but at $2 per month, it's quite affordable, especially when you consider that the usual monthly cost is $8. So, you're getting three months of service for less than the regular price.

Disney introduced the ad-supported version of Disney+ last year when they also raised the price of the ad-free tier from $7.99 to $10.99. Now, they're planning another price increase from $10.99 to $13.99 on October 12th. It seems like this discount is Disney's way of apologizing for these changes and trying to make amends. The ad-free tier remains at $7.99 per month and isn't getting a price hike, but given the current trends, it might happen in the future.

If you want to explore Disney+ and its wide range of content (even though they occasionally remove some content), this offer is worth considering. It's only available to new subscribers and eligible returning subscribers, so current customers can't take advantage of it.
